I have hard water - is that a problem?

Minerals have less time to settle out of the water column and build up inside the heat exchanger, because tankless water heaters do not store hot water. Another advantage is that the flow of water through the heat exchanger flushes the residue each time hot water is used. Nonetheless water softener can be used with a tankless water heater, and is recommended if you have hard water problems in your home.

I'm moving soon and want to get a tankless water heater in Denver. Do you happen to know if Denver has hard or soft water? Thanks!

I would always go with soft water if you can. The water heaters in Calgary are going to be your best bet as well. Good luck!

I had no idea there even was such a thing as a tankless water heater. It makes sense, and probably works really well. Do you know if they sell a tankless water heater in Calgary? I would interested in investing in one.

I think that it is very interesting how there are so many options when getting a new water heater winnipeg. I can see how tankless whater heater would do the trick just like the large tank ones.

Well hard water is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is not good either. You are probably going to want to get things well taken care of and make sure that it doesn't stay that way. Over time it can get worse and so you want to make sure that you are safe about things.

I don't mind my hard water! It's all personal opinion, but I think that hard water is better than soft. I really need to get a new water heater. Can you recommend one? http://www.clearwaterplumbing.com/tankless-water-heaters/

I live in a state that is notorious for its hard water. I didn't realize this when I moved in here, so I've had to adjust how I deal with my water system now. I'm happy to see that the hard water doesn't affect how my water gets heated. That's one less thing on my list of things to worry about!
